Let’s Work Together

The Essentials*

  • Two virtual or in-person prenatal visits anytime between 34-36 weeks

    • During these meetings we’ll discuss building a birth plan, address pain management, comfort measures, and overall preferences. We’ll also go over partner expectations, what items to bring to your birth location, and address any anxieties or concerns. The goal is for you and your partner to feel confident, empowered, and prepared going into birth.

  • Unlimited text/email support

    • Pregnancy and new parenthood can come with countless questions and worries. As your doula, I’m here to help you navigate unexpected symptoms or concerns and answer questions as they come up in daily life. My goal is to reduce any anxieties you may have and ensure you feel heard and supported.

  • 24 hour on-call availability beginning at 37 weeks

    • Around 37-weeks, you will be introduced to the back up doula, should an emergency arise and I become unavailable when you go into labor.

  • Continuous in person support to you and your partner during active labor

    • Once you notify me that you’re in active labor, we can talk through next steps and reference your birth plan preferences. Together, we can talk through any questions via phone, as well as offer recommendations.

  • Guaranteed back-up doula services to ensure you’re fully supported during labor.

    • Should an emergency arise on my end when you go into labor that would prevent me from being able to support you, you are guaranteed doula support via a backup. Being connected to an immersive NJ doula community, I will ensure you’re back up is a strong, experienced fit to offer support.

  • One virtual or in person postpartum visit

    • During this visit I’ll check on your physical and emotional recovery, offer breastfeeding or bottle-feeding guidance, and help answer questions about feeding cues, sleep patterns, and basic newborn care. We can also hold space to reflect on your birth experience and any moments you’d like to talk through.

    • If at any point you express the need for additional mental and emotional support, or share that you are struggling with anxiety and/or depression, we can talk through potential next steps based on best practice recommendations. Mental health concerns should be taken very seriously. It’s crucial that new mother’s feel supported and know they have options to find relief and healing during postpartum.
